Do I grab him and pin him down?
And if it isn't a dominance issue, is there something else it could be other than him being sexual frustrated at such a young age?
I would hate to think I have to sit him down and discuss the "birds and the bees" at such a young age. haha. |
It is a dominance thing at that young age. I do not like the idea of pinning dogs down...I think it just scares them and makes them fearful of you. Instead, just firmly tell him NO! and make him stop. You could also shake a can with coins in it, clap your hands loudly, or make some type of loud noise that he associates negatively like NO. He should get the point that humping is not acceptable behavior, and as long as he's neutered at a young age, he should stop humping
