I like Jen0225's idea. Maybe your daughter isn't ready for the responsiblity of Bella. She might welcome some help. For Bella's sake I hope she can stay under your care. That would be so sad if she sent her to the neglectful boyfriend's.
So glad the vet said she wasn't injured...it's a miracle she fell into something soft. I would talk to your daughter about this... but not in an accusing way. Being a teenager she would resent that. Good luck and hope it turns out all right.
