The only thing worse than one dog wanting to be the Alpha dog...is two dogs both wanting to be the alpha dog. I have a five year old and a l year old. They both want to be Alphas. The yound one will not permit you to turn her upside down. My vet suggested holding her in my arms and gently turn her over just a little. Each time continue to turn her until I can turn her on her back. She fights it and refuses to turn over.
