I was always intrigued by the nature versus nurture question. For example, personality traits run in blood relatives. But an adopted child can also have similar personality traits as the rest of the family. So is it the nature (genes) or the nurture (environment) that helps shape our children? (And then, of course, why can two children raised within the same nature AND nurture turn out so different?)
