I will not assume how much you know about breeding. It could be that you just have difficulty expressing yourself in your question, so I am giving the benefit of a doubt on that point. I do have to say that I agree with Sylvan's posts and the input she has posted. I am at a loss as to who would allow anyone to prove their male on one of their females when there are so many unknowns in the equations. Maybe you know more about the history of your male and the unknown female than I am seeing, so I will not speak to your specific situation, but I will say that in my area there is not a responsible breeder who would use a male (or female) in a breeding program that they have worked very hard to develop and are now getting healthy, good temperment because of the knowledge the breeder spent much time researching and breeding away from so many of the problems that we are now seeing in Yorkies.
