i know EXACTLY how you feel.. Layla cowers too... if you didn't know any better you'd say she was an abused animal.. but she honest to god isn't.. i can't figure it out.... i'll go to pick her up or just pet her and she cowers.. i'm worried some people will get the wrong idea.. but i have no idea what caused this or how to fix it.. dont' worry.. you aren't alone
