I am sorry to say this but I don't think it gets any better! I myself haven't had any kids yet but my mother and I go through the same thing still today. She lives almost 10hrs away and cries continually about it. All I can say is look at how much your daughter has accomplished and look where she is going. You as her parent have accomplished what you were supposed to do in giving her love and providing her with the best future! So those tears should remind you of your creation and that continuing growth she does as an adult. Thats why I will never go a day without talking to my mom, and even if we are upset with each other I ALWAYS say I love you when hanging up, as I nor anyone else can predict what tomorrow may bring. I am almost 25 and we still struggle being away from each other. Just (I am sure you are) be proud and give those fur babies EXTRA love to heal your hurting heart!!! xo *parker licks* and tons of *hugs* coming from over here!! |
