Ah yes, I hear ya sistah!!
I have one that will graduate college next year and one that is in her second semester now. They each go to college 2 1/2 hours from home IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS! My hubby and I always talk about that - how it's hard all over again each time they leave. And my oldest daughter and I have talked about how it's even worse now, because we've moved past that "mother-daughter" relationship into the "I-would-pick-you-as-my-friend-even-if-we-weren't-related" relationship!! But they both love their schools and their college lives, so I hang on to that. My husband and I talk about how worse it must be for parents that either don't get along with their kids or know that their kids are miserable away from home.
So I thank God for my pain every day - because this pain is just the pain of missing the most beautiful women He gave me the HONOR of knowing!!! And then I get all teary-eyed again.
