I told her that I left over 4 calls and that since I didn't hear back I decided to stop by since she only lived 3 blocks away. She asked how I got her address, and I said since the lady in her mothers days out program knew her name & phone number, that was enough info for me to google her address.
She first asked me to provide all shot records, etc, because she didn't feel comfortable he was mine. I then described a birth mark on his belly that is very unique. She then mentioned she would prefer to wait until Monday and talk to my vet. This was a Saturday after 5 PM....OK, That's when I threatened to call police. She closed her front door for about 4 long minutes and came out with Rocky. Min later her husband asked how much does a dog like him run....This man was total SLIME. I reached out took Rocky from his wife and thanked them as I walked Rocky back to the car.
Very sad that there are people like this in our world. Very important when a pet has gotten out, to flood the are w/flyers, call animal control, spca, all vets in your are, talk to your neighbors and even people you don't know to get the word out. Keep flyers up even if you think it's too late.
Good to know that good out weighs bad. Some how the lady who notified me, knew there was something fishy about this women. |
See that is one of my fears with Delilah but i just didn't want to say it on here and someone get mad at me

I am worried that maybe someone has her that either just fell in love with her right off the bat or has always wanted a yorkie and was never able to afford one and that they might have even seen the flyers but don't care because they may think that since they found her they are keeping her. I really hope this isn't the case but it is a possibility and if it is the case i hope someone comes to you and says hey i think so and so might have your dog. But also to the plus side of it in the meantime she would be in a warm dry place being loved and cared for until she returns to you but in my heart i truely believe someone has your baby.
I do know that they are people like that out there because i personally know of 3 that would and have done that but thanks to me contacting the owners the babies went back to their homes where they belonged.
