 So Sad - does it get any easier?
I just dropped my daughter off at the airport to return to college for her 2nd semester of her freshman year. I'm heartbroken, almost as bad as when I left her at college at the end of August.
For those of you who have been thru this, does it get any easier?
We spent every day together since Dec. 21 and had the best time. I'm not even sure when I will see her next. We are trying to figure out spring break - but she has talked about going on a volunteer service type trip. Then 4 days after the semester ends, she will leave for Australia & a special service learning program in Melbourne & classes at the Univ. of Melbourne.
It's just back to me & the yorkies & the Siamese, who is sleeping in her bed right now. Bubba & Roxy made the trip to the airport with me, they too seemed confused and Bubba wanted to go in my daughter's room, as soon as we got home. |
