We used the Bitter Apple on anything that our baby tried to chew. However, your hands are a different situation. You need to show your little teether that you are not a chew toy. When your baby tries to bite you, take her by the muzzle and "take her down". That means, gently put her on her side and hold her down, also gently but quickly and firmly. This is the method her mother would use in the litter. Also, redirection for chewing, just as you were doing, giving her something that is okay to chew. You are doing the right thing, but these little guys, are teething and it hurts. Your baby is a toddler, and toddlers are trainable! Good luck!
