I agreed with you that one brand is good in one thing while another brand is good in some other thing. Because of this reason, I give my boy different brands (Wellness, Solid Gold and Orijen) in each meal. My boy likes this way since he can get 3 various tastes in each meal. I also change his food each time he finishes one bag but I always shift within those brands I mentioned.
Brand wise, I think Solid Gold and Wellness are both good; Orijen is new and it is quite high in protein which might damage their little kidney (that's what I heard). My boy prefers Solid Gold's Hund n Floken since it is easy to eat (shape and size is like a dime), not like the pyramid shape (Wellness), he always have hard time chewing before swallowing. |
