neosporin is just for open wounds or burns
if it were Layla i would leave it... although i know it would really bother me... if it didn't bother her or say get in the way when i was brushing her and accidentinty get cut.. but if it got bigger i'd have it removed... i'm sure he woudln't be under for more than like 30 min... but i'd wait until the last possible moment before doing that.
