Well actually the republican caucus winner in Iowa - Mike Huckabee - does not have a lot of money & he will need to keep winning & getting more money to make it all the way to Super Tuesday - which I think is Feb. 5. Also, he grew up really poor - he told a sweet little story on Leno the other night if you didn't see it.
Actually, I think Huckabee may be the only one still running for either party that isn't a millionaire on his own right. Perhaps Richardson isn't either. Anyway, I recently read an interesting story about how much money these guys all make or have in the bank -- very telling. They are so wealthy & trying to lead a majority of middle income folks is really interesting. I'll have to see if I can find a link to that story.
Then you have Hillary & Obama who each are suppose to have 100 million in current campaign donations. |
