Omg This doesn't feel right!!!

Maddie has acted weird about me touching her back ever since she got microchipped. She almost acts like it's painful, even a light touch...and she doesn't want me brushing her back, which she used to love. When I touch that spot, I can actually feel the chip, and it sort of moves around...of course I can't mess with it too much.

All of mine are microchipped, and I can't feel any of others in their backs, and the spots aren't sensitive to the touch.

Is this at all normal? Has anybody else experienced this? Do you think it's actually the chip hurting her? Or the memory of the chip going in that scares her when you touch that particular place?
