I am not sure wich other ones we tryed but it took 3 for us to go with netgear. Ours was running slow, it wouldnt pickup our printer, just things like that. My hubby does all that kind of stuff. I just went with him to get them and listened to him wine when they didnt work LOL. Sorry I cant be much help.
