So last night I had a POSITIVE balance in my checking account with Bank of America (that I HAVE to leave open for another two weeks because that's how long it takes Mike's direct deposit to switch over to Wachovia).
This morning I got up, checked on line, and we had a NEGATIVE balance!

What?! We hadn't used our card, written any checks, NOTHING. There was NO REASON for us to have a negative balance. Things had been conveniently rearranged and "keep the change" had been taken out to cause two different things to "bounce". Luckily I'd printed our on line register out last night. I printed what it was showing this morning out as well and headed to the bank.
I walked in the door and was met by the "greeter". She asked if I how I was. I replied I was angry and would like to speak to a manager. She said she was a manager. Since when is a greeter a manager? I told her that was nice, I would like to speak to a different manager. She refused to let me. So I explained the issue. She tried to blame it on ME and said I should never go by what is on line only by what is in my own personal book. Well if I did that I would NEVER have a problem. DUH! She could give me an answer to what happened. I once again asked to speak with a different manager. She refused to let me.

This is where it gets good. She had the audacity to ask me to leave HER bank!
Luckily the bank manager happened to be walking by (only I didn't know thats who it was at the time). He asked what the problem was. I explained it to him. We went to his office. He had no explanation. I told him I would most certainly be leaving BoA. He said he would fix the problem. I told him he could bet his a$$ his he would and he could also bet it I would still be leaving.
And there you have Aerrica's Adventure of the Day
Oh, and get this, my BoA account is mysteriously showing that it was NEVER negative! Imagine that!
