My best advice is to not get discouraged. Ask lots of questions to find out how others did it, but even if you do everything right and she is 6 months old and pees on the floor in front of you like it's nothing, just be aware that sometimes it clicks one day and they just get it. Keep her in a routine as best you can. Then, as her body matures enough for her to hold it she will know what the right thing to do is. Good luck! I successfully trained two to go outside, no pads. They ring a bell to go outside. Loki was 10 months and Sammy was about 17-18 months, although we didn't get her until she was a year old so it took us about 6 months. Once day she just rang the bell and she has been ringing it since.
We thought that day would never come!
