It doesn't stop sales behind the scenes. Members often contact a breeder who is member when they are looking for a puppy because they have gotten to know them through their posts. This way the sales are kept private between two people with no implied endorsement from the forum. |
I'm a member of the same Maltese forum and the attitude there is night and day from YT in regards to breeding practices. Everyone there is so educated on what a reputable breeder is and does such a good job of educating others. Since I've joined, I haven't seen too many breeding debates on there.
