Wrapping the coat is basically a way to keep it cleaner and prevent breakage. Most (or I guess maybe all) show dogs spend a lot of time in wraps. You wrap portions of the hair in paper and then roll the paper up a certain way ... a lot of work, but it's the best way to keep the coat in the best shape possible.
