I give kudos to the Biewer breeders for trying to start their own breed separate from the Yorkie. I do not believe for one second that it was from a spontaeous mutation or hidden recessive genes, etc, that they were created, but at least they have the get up n go to get their dogs a registry and go from there. They just dont sit around and bash the YTCA. If you dont like the standard, move on.
The Biewer was established in Germany, they did not have to deal with the oppositon of the YTCA. The YTCA is preventing this beautiful color and the entire trainbow of colors that are a natural part of the yorki breed from being recognized. Why not allow them to be shown in another category? What would it hurt?
