I think you made the right decision. I have had Yorkies since 1970 and believe me by not going with a reputable breeder you increase your chances of getting an unhealthy puppy. My one, Cali who I bought from a breeder I knew nothing about cost me over 7,000 in medical bills the first year. When I decided to get another one I went to a very well known breeder and got a grat 13 month old and 2 weeks ago I got a 6 month old from her. There are a lot of great breeders her on YT you may want to check into. I would trust your gut feeling and pass on the puppy. It may be healthy but it is a chance you take. Your baby is out there somewhere!! |
