If you're going to dress your baby a lot, keeping them short will help keep the mats away. There's always sweaters and coats for cold weather.
It's a person choice, really. If you don't have the time for frequent brushing, or the matts keep coming back,then a shorter do is easier on you and the doggy |
SO SO TRUE!!! I like to dress Kalina, but it matts her terribly when I do. I won't cut her coat, because I love the long hair, but I have to be careful and not keep her dressed for too long and comb her out really well after I undress her. My groomer can ALWAYS tell when I've been dressing her, because of the matts. If you are going to dress her alot, go with a shorter cut.
