Wow. A child is a child and clearly they are not going to be put in a carrier under a seat, my gosh. Yes, it's less than ideal when there's a child throwing a tantrum, but they are a child and sometimes they do that!
I also get upset when I'm flying and the parents are not trying to keep their children occupied and therefore they become restless and upsetting sometimes to the rest of a flight. I can understand that, but I don't blame the child, it's the parent that is at fault.
I definitely wish that the airlines would reconsider the rules and allow the furbabies to be upgraded to a seat, or to let us hold their carriers on our laps. But I also think with proper practice leading up to a flight with most furbabies, they would do fine.
I don't have children yet, but I would suspect it's much more difficult to travel with them than with a yorkie
