Right now it's important to keep her hydrated - if you see shaking or signs of lethargy - she could be going hypoglycemic...I've never experienced it myself - but after reading about it on these sites - the signs are usually there if you know what to look for -
ALSO...like Val just said before me....GO TO THE VET if you think she's in trouble - an emergency vet if you have to - It's tough on the weekend but they can go down fast if they have a Hypoglycemic Episode....You don't want to take any chances....
I Really hope the medicine is just taking away her appetite - but Nutracal and a little syringe for water will keep her stamina up also ...if you don't have a syringe - you can soak a cloth in Water and squeeze some in her mouth
Good luck and I hope she feels better fast poor baby - I had my tonsils out and man did THAT hurt..if she has a sore throat she's probably in pain....Did the vet give you any baby asprin or anything for that? | Well said Villette. |
