I have 1 who was a biter..when I would come home, she would be so excited as soon as I put my hands down to pet or pick her up, she'd get to nibbling....what I did was I would still get her just as excited when I walked in, go to put my hands down and as soon as I saw her trying to bite/nip my hands, I immediately put them behind my back and said "no" looking her in the eye, then bring the hands back around trying to pet or pick her up again....I would do that a few times..after about a week (or 2

) of that, she finally got the picture. Another thing I would do is instead of putting my hands down to greet her, I would kneel down and bring my face close to hers(hands out of reach/sight).....and now, she licks instead of bites..

So it just takes patience and consistency and she'll get the hang of it. As you said, they are very excited & playful at that age...
