Great question! My yorkie is 8 months but started breaking @ about 6 months. The top of his head is coming in white (and has been) and the ends of the white have about an inch of the dark. I have researched and researched but still don't know what it all means. I really wanted a gold/black yorkie but now I really really don't care. Whatever color he turns, he has my whole heart. So don't feel alone about being confused - b/c I am still - just don't let it bother me any more!
