Thank you for the prayers and thoughts. We really need them.
He barely ate a bite Tuesday. This morning we tried everything in the arsenal and he could only eat 5 or so bites. He wanted to eat more, you could tell. He just doesn't feel good and is super weak.
He slept at home all day with mommy until we went to the vet. Then he went nuts barking and acting almost completely normal. Except for having lost 3/4 lb ... down to 7lbs. He's so light and his muscles feel empty.

... the vet is keeping him overnight and we're going to Gainesville tomorrow for an AM appointment. It will be with internal medicine at UF small animal hospital.
Previously the vet said UF couldn't really offer anything. Now we're being sent there. I think in our vet's mind it's so sad for such a young baby to be in this situation. Everything but his kidneys are in GREAT shape. He's always eaten well and had plenty of exercise and love.
We're scared, apprehensive, etc ... we just want to do the best for him and try as hard as we can. We don't want his last days to be in a cage with IV's though.
