Thank you so much for this information..... I'll ask our Vet tomorrow if we can do the urine testing. I already told him that I won't fast Sophie right now.... she just needs her food too much. If a dog has liver shunt.... what can you do for them? Do they need surgery, or can it be controlled with the proper diet?
