For me, this is the BEST day. Just me, Mike, and the kidlets and furbutts. The calm after the storm.
It is almost 9 am (we slept in). The kids are playing quietly.
Olivia (4 yr old) is happily ignoring all the expensive My Little Pony Ponyville stuff she had a FIT for and got and is busy playing with some $5 wooden building blocks from the Dollar Store. LOL
Lauren and Michel (13 and 11) are busy playing Pokemon on there DS's (THANK YOU in laws! - they actually bought those and since being opened both kids have been quietly and happily playing)
We all got Christmas money and Christmas giftcards so I don't even have to cook this morning if I don't want to. We can either all get dressed and go out for breakfast, or me and the kids can stay in our jammies and send Mike out for it.
December 26th is definitely my favorite day of the year.
