I have noticed this in some of my other dog pictures as well. Not every one of my dogs, but some have pix with green eye shine and same dog with red eye shine.
Also, can the canine opthamologist send you some info or tell us where to look for the scientific facts?

I wondered about this also.
But after reading this yesterday
I think they are talking about the color of the eye in the dark with a light reflecting off of the eye - Not the color of the eyes with camera Flash.
I have 2 yorkies with gold eyes in pictures with flash, one yorkie with bright green & one 9 mth old yorkie blue with flash.
Now last night I saw Scruffy's eyes with the kitchen light reflecting off of his eyes as a bright green & he always has gold eyes in pictures! Scruffy is beleived to be A Modified Silk. So this theory could be right???
I tried with a flashlight in a dark bedroom this morning - just saw brown eyes & blue on my 9 mth old.
