I've lived in VC all my life with the exception of living in Germany for 3 years while my husband was in the Army and a year in Colorado Springs before he got out of the Army. It was probably the early 60's when I would visit my cousin in Haven. We've been to Carriage Crossing a few times in the last year or so. As far as the weather in KS, lately we seem to have one extreme or the other... it is so hot and humid in the summer (we don't have much spring) and yesterday we had this Winter Storm/Blizzard thing like we haven't had in years!
