Your puppy is cute! And yes, there are such things as white yorkies (born white) out of two traditional colored yorkies. Both parents carry the recessive gene for the parti color. The one reason that I question if this pup is a full parti yorkie is the fact that it's ears look tan and not black. Parti's are born black and white with tan highlights around the eyes/muzzle, but ears are black (like traditional colored yorkie pups). Of course your pup could be a golden parti ;-) But I see the breeder you got the pup from also has Maltese and apricot and parti poodles, so it's possible that two sires bred the dam? Either way, the mother also carried a parti gene, otherwise the pup would have been born traditional colored and not parti colored.
