Since the standard says up to 7lbs, I'm assuming anything over 7.0 would be over standard. I don't think they normally weigh the show dogs though..but someone told me once that if there is doubt, they might get a scale out. Lacy's like 7.5lbs and I usually says she's just a little over standard
