no, it doesn't have anything to do with what they eat. Well, it can cause them to be obese or not, but it doesn't change their frame & height. It's all due to genetics. You have to take into account all the dogs several generations back in the lines. Unless All of the dogs are a consistant size, then you can get a varaiation in sizes
