I see no problem with how your daughter interacts with Tika. That is just not how some kids act though. Some parents don't raise their children to respect animals. The rescue can't know for sure unless they spend time with you and that is not possible.

I would never allow a family with younger children (maybe 4 years old and under) to adopt a Yorkie because it is common for kids to run and trip and fall. Falling on a Yorkie would mean serious injury or death for it.
