I would talk to the actual breeder of your pet...pedigrees can get very watered down and some breeders feel if their dogs are the great.-grandparents they have little to do with your pet...it only takes one generation to totally change type...
If your male is line bred, then that is quite different...then one breeder would be responsible for 3 or 4 generations...
I do not mind talking to anyone, but when one of my dogs appear 3 or 4generations back it is hard to give much insight..some times it is the sheer volume of numbers...after 35 yrs, it was not unusual for me to get several calls a day from Yorkie lovers who wanted to chat...and many wanted to visit..I tried my best...I have had people ask if they would be "penciled" in to visit once a month, bring their Yorkie/Yorkies..like a play date...
