I feel the same way. There has been way too many stories about bad groomers and people getting total opposite of what they asked for. I too, think I'd probably be in a police car somewhere if they shaved my Meka. Which is why, I do it myself. I purchased a clippers set for dogs (target $25) or wherever. Mine came with a how to DVD and I love it. I usually find pics of other Yorkies, with cuts that I really like and try to duplicate it. It works for us
My Meka (8 mo) can be "jumpy" when I groom her, so I know that things definately wouldnt work for her elsewhere... Not until shes older maybe. Hope this helps...Cant wait to see pics
