Well as they say marriage is hard enough just with the simple every day things life brings you...Financial issues being one of them...If he's in debt up to his eyeballs I wouldn't be with him...You're so young and you deserve the best and someone that trusts you enough not to make comments like that either!!
I would move on, he's not boyfriend material much less marriage material...how is he going to support you in the future or will you work your but off so that he can stay at home and work a part-time job?? Hope everything works out for you darlin'...
