I agree with everything you said. There are some people on here that think unless you show, you are a backyard breeder. Well, if only some people knew some of these show breeders are little more than puppymills themselves. I say that because recently I heard of one very well known one that has anywhere from 60-70 dogs. You can be sure the small hobby breeder does put more thought and consideration into breeding stock than someone that has 60-70 dogs outside in a kennel. I was told tonight that I was called a backyard breeder because i came on Yt soley for the purpose of selling dogs. The person that said that would have known I didn't even have a dog when I joined YT if she had checked her facts before she sent a pm around accusing me of being a BYB, BTW, that pm was forwarded right to me.. I joined in August 2005, got Ceeby in october, Got my first female in January and had my first litter of pups in late August a year after I joined YT. and didn't even sell those puppies on here. it never ceases to amaze me the garbage people will pass around in pm's they think are private without even checking to see if they have their facts straight. I even did a search on myself tonight to see if I remembered the facts correctly.
