you sound like me, LOL! I had a sewing machine, used it like 10 years ago, my MIL wanted it and I gave it to her. Then, all of sudden, I think I want to sew again...so I bought this one. I did take some lessons, (since it had been so long) and it worked really well. I keep thinking I am going to make some stuff...I want to learn to quilt...but I don't use it all that much...BUT....I am GOING too,
I, too, didn't want to spend alot since this is just for my personal, hobby use...I am happy with it for the amount of sewing I do. I think if I were to ever get into it heavy then I would maybe spend more, but I don't see that happening
