I work at a corporate office for a chain of grocery stores. But they usually let us go early on Christmas Eve. This is the first year I haven't taken vacation the week of Christmas, but this year I have an assistant and she asked off and since I was off for Thanksgiving I couldn't very easily say no
But I have 3 days vacation that I HAVE to take before the end of the year. I'll take one next week, but they will have to get a temp the day after Christmas and Friday after.
