My hubby would love to buy me something I'd adore - but I really don't want anything. I can NEVER think of anything in terms of gifts. He has offered diamond earrings - but I'd feel badly if he spent that much. Ditto on a once-in-a-lifetime watch. I let him get my "dream ring" when we got engaged, but beyond that, I actually FEEL BAD when I think of people spending alot of money on me!
And yes, I have tried therapy to deal w/ all the messed up crap, as seen above, that developed from a messed up childhood. And, I can laugh about it too! LOL.
