My darling cat Penny was spayed 3 years ago at about this time.....and I went through it like it was routine. I mean I missed and was concerned for her, but I didn't wasn't a crying worrywart like I was with Sully! And trust me, I
love my babygirl.
But when SULLY was neutered a few months ago, I worried, cried and felt this horrible guilt for it! I figured it was because I was taking his "manhood" away LOL. But it got to my heart more!
I am glad, though, that I have experienced this b/c I know that I will feel bad the next time I have to go through such an experience but still....I know that like you said, Villette, the worst part of it all is what goes on in our minds. Now that I recognize that, operations will go more smoothly in the future (I hope!)
Glad Cheri is home and resting! Sully sends his kisses! (And lots to Chanel too

ooh baby!)
