I can't believe she actually said that if you don't let your female have at least one litter before being spayed she will have false pregnancies for many years. That is so untrue!! Spay is easier on them while they're sexual organs are yet immature. If the hormones never come into play than a false pregnancy can never occur as far as I've been told. I would consult my vet just to be sure. Something about this lady just doesn't ring true. Sounds to me like she's trying to get a litter cheap!
