I agree. I wouldn't buy my dogs a $300 bed for the simple reason that they eat on their bed and get food stains on it. Plus, sometimes a little poop will stick to their butts (always happens to my Codie) and then their bed will get a poop stain. The 2 beds they have now are machine washable and looks awesome. They were both around $90 each. I would love to invest in a good quality fluffy mattress type of bed but it has to have a top cover that is machine washable or it's a no go.
One of my friends bought an EXPENSIVE dog bed that was NOT machine washable and the bed got totally ruined after 1 month. To me, that's a waste of money. |
