The lumps on her belly make me uncomfortable, so glad you are taking her to the vet. Her teeth have been neglected and she may end up with no teeth. Charlie had extractions done by the vet on most of his teeth except the canines. They were worried his jaw would be broken, so I took him to a dental surgeon who was fantastic. Less time under sedation and perfect extraction.

If she happens to loose all of her teeth, I simply portion out kibble for the next day in a container, cover with a small amount of water to soften, refrigerate overnight and mix with wet food that has been slightly warmed in the microwave.

I do know how you feel about abuse, and I too was upset that people love to own animals but don't take care of them. Her coat is so thin but with your wonderful care, she will recover.

Warmly, Deborah
