Buddy has broken two retractable leashes therefore I am back to using
the standad 1" wide 16ft leash. He's a puller, head down and 100 mi an
hour and off we go
I find that the standard leash also gives me better
control. He does not like large dogs so it's much easier to pull him
close to me when I see one. He, also, is very muscular.
