Well Macy had a big week so far Monday she went to her first dog obedience class. Boy there were a lot of big puppies there! I was scare at first and almost walked out, then the lady told me not to worry “they had never lost a puppy yet”. We survived the first day….8 more weeks to go!
Then yesterday we had our first trip to the groomer and Macy didn’t like it.
I want to take her for 30-minute appointments so she can get to know her. I just want her to be the one to do around her eyes and ears I can do the rest. But Macy won’t let her get anywhere near her head without biting and I mean almost vicious. The groomer was very sweet and gentle with her, played with her for 30 minutes, gave her lots of hugs and kisses but it didn’t matter. She isn’t even charging me for these appointments because all she can do is comb her and clip her nails. Any suggestions on getting her to sit for the groomer, or do you think this might just be something that takes time?
She is going back this afternoon and again on Friday....
