Im sorry that you are having to deal with all this on a fairly new car! That stinks sooo much! When I was looking at cars I stayed far away from VW. I had a BUNCH of friends/family/neighbors/coworkers who drove them. Out of 10 people, 5 were sooo happy and couldn't say enough good things about their car, and 5 were ALWAYS at the shop! I mean something was wrong ALL the time with their car. I decided to spend that much money the odds were not good enough that Id get a good car.

When I was 24 I bought a brand new cavalier for about $12,000. I am 31 and the car is still going STRONG! In the 7 years Ive had it, I had to replace the gas pump (about $500) and early this year a strut broke so I had the struts done (my brother did them so it was about $400). Everything else has been basic maintanance stuff. I could not have asked for a better car!!! This car rocks! I won't get rid of it until it falls apart! hahaha
